Between my two classes today (Money & Banking and Piano) I decided to go shopping for a bit to kill time, despite the rain. Some people deem a rainy day as one to not go outside, but it’s actually quite refreshing. The rain actually highlights the different colors in the buildings, which makes for a rather picturesque walk if I do say so myself. Thus, even if I don’t find anything while I’m out shopping today, this trip is a success.
Despite being quite a rainy day yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised to see this morning’s rather sunny weather. Even right now, I’m enjoying this nice spring weather by celebrating with an umbrella-less walk home instead of taking the subway. Although I’m sure listening to my iPod instead of the street noise around me cancels out the fact I’m walking home. Anyway, make sure if you’re in NYC take a little time, even 5 minutes, to walk outside and enjoy the amazing March weather.
